The working hours at Sunrise Medical Associates are:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Phones are answered 8:00am - 11:30 am and 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Medical Services Available at Sunrise Medical Associates
Our physicians begin their day at the hospital and arrive at our office to begin seeing patients in the later morning. Although the doctor’s assistant is in the office, she is usually on the telephone returning calls to patients, contacting insurance companies to receive approval for doctor-ordered tests, or contacting patients with test results.
It is for this reason our receptionist usually connects you with the voice mailbox of your doctor’s assistant. As soon as your doctor arrives at the office, both the doctor and his / her assistant are working with that day’s patients. If time allows between patients, the doctor’s assistant will attempt to return more calls, schedule tests, etc.
After patient office hours, the doctor’s assistant has more time to spend with her doctor to get answers to your question or get you the refill you have requested. Co-Pays and Insurance
We require that our patients bring their insurance card to each appointment, as well as co-pay if required by insurance. We encourage you to be familiar with the policies of your particular insurance plan and to obtain the necessary referrals before coming to your appointment.
Most patients believe this is because we want to be reimbursed for the medical care rendered. Although this is true, it is also very important since your laboratory, x-ray facility, pharmacy, durable medical equipment company, home health care company may be chosen by your insurance company.
Your failure to use the appropriate insurance-mandated company could result in unexpected costs to you. Thus, if we are unaware of your current insurance carrier, we could inadvertently use the wrong company. Please call us in advance at (623) 266-8361

Co-pays are due at each visit if you have selected that type of healthcare insurance.
